If they sound familiar it’s  probably because you’ve been watching too much TV. Bom Bom Bom provided the soundtrack to a Cingular commercial and provided the world with our introduction to Living Things. Since then they’ve toured the country, played from the big stage at Lollapalooza, and come to revel in the rock n roll lifestyle.

They also took time off to write and record a new album, their second major release, titled Habeas Corpus. Take a listen to the first single called Let It Rain.

Although the band’s lyrics attack capitalism, war and the “dumbing down” of society, the “message” he is referring to is more of a desire to provoke debate about these issues.

the strength of this follow-up is not the defiant antiestablishment fist-pumping (though there’s plenty), but the tunes.
